Support for Dental Practitioners
What is DPASS?
Dental Practitioner Assistance and Support Schemes (DPASS) were instigated around 2002 in various parts of the country to offer assistance to dental practitioners who were in need of peer support. Practitioners can be referred to the scheme by a regulator, or self-refer if they are aware of issues.
Cheshire & Merseyside LDC’s have launched a DPASS in their area to mirror the existing scheme in Lancashire & South Cumbria. We also work with Greater Manchester covering the whole North West.
Dental practitioners who are a GDS dental performer on the NHS list, in Cheshire & Merseyside, are able to self-refer at this time and may do so using the Contact Us form. Those in Lancashire & South Cumbria should currently visit their website here.
